As the founder and chief creative of Woodman Creative, Jowill Woodman develops stimulating communication materials, web sites and advertising for clients as diverse as Sesame Workshop, Audubon Magazine, Muller Martini, Little Flower Children and Family Services of NY, Duralee Fabrics and Prospect Park Alliance, to name a few. In testament to his success, clients have repeatedly returned or recommended his work to others.
There’s no substitute for hands-on experience and Jowill Woodman racked up his skills while developing successful integrated campaigns for a wide range of clients. Campaigns that include brand development, web sites, corporate communication programs, print and TV advertising, promotion, direct marketing materials, experiential graphics and packaging — he’s served as primary talent for all of these elements and more. In addition to providing creative leadership, he develops strong relationships with his clients and team members, ensuring that the creative process is not only effective but also enjoyable.
Woodman Creative is an evolution of Guarino Woodman, an integrated advertising agency in NYC, where Jowill helped launch Speedvision Network and later worked on its re-branding campaign when the network was sold to FOX Sports, airing there as Speed Channel. Other clients included AT&T, Foot Locker, Oxxford Clothes, Thirteen/WNET and Toshiba.
To enhance innate design skills, Jowill studied painting at Art Students League and fashion illustration and advertising design at Fashion Institute of Technology; he also majored in illustration at School of Visual Arts. His illustrations have appeared in The New York Times Op-Ed pages, on-air graphics and print promotional materials for Thirteen/WNET, Bantam Books’ “The Brain,” Macmillan’s “Nature,” numerous Scholastic book titles, and in advertisements for Molson Golden Ale and Citibank.
